Lairik is pronounced, /laɪ rɪk/.

I love reading and grew up with books all around me. My parents weren't affluent, but I still remember my father telling me that no matter what, he and my mother will never deprive us (my siblings and me) the privilege of reading good books. We were provided the basics when it came to clothing or toys, but books were made available in abundance. They never broke their promise.

Now that I am a father, I resolve to extend the same affirmation to my daughter. But this time, I wish to push myself a bit further and extend my support to a few more children who needs them.

In the end, nothing can be more fulfilling than helping children discover the pleasure of reading; that, which once found, is seldom lost.
